Companies ranging from start-ups to global brands such as Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems, and AT&T have benefited from his strategic planning and tactical execution abilities, and enjoyed many hundreds of millions of dollars in increased revenues as a result. As President and CEO of Advantedge Global Services, Inc., he is leading a rapid realignment and turnaround, accelerating sales with new software business alliances.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University, India, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, and an MBA from Goizueta School of Business, Emory University. For over 25 years, Sam has helped organizations find new ways to identify, attract and sustain profitable customer relationships. He has significant international experience with engagements in Europe, South Africa, Asia/Pacific, Latin America and North America. Consulting engagements target three key areas: customer relationship management, sales strategy implementation, and sales organization transformation.
Prior to consulting, his career included executive positions at Texas Instruments and Price Waterhouse. He co-founded Barcus-Nugent Group in 1985 and Barcus McCracken International (BMI) in 1994. In 1998, Sam co-founded NewLeaf Partners, his current consulting company.
Sam is a Certified Management Consultant and Certified Public Accountant. He has held leadership positions in several professional and community organizations, including the Tennessee Society of CPA’s, the Planning Forum, the United Way’s Management Development Center, the WPLN (Public Radio) Educational Foundation and the Vanderbilt University Center for Clinical and Research Ethics.
The author of numerous articles, Sam has also published three books: The Relationship Advantage, published by Dearborn Trade Publishing; Handbook of Management Consulting, published by McGraw-Hill; and Financial Information Systems Manual, published by Warren, Gorham and Lamont. Sam has also served on the faculty of Belmont University’s Jack Massey Graduate School of Business.

Anir’s passion for deal making was seeded at Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and M&A practice where he worked on numerous M&A deals in the energy, telecom, and automotive sectors. At SunTrust Banks, Anir led a large merger integration project as VP, Internal Consulting. As Global M&A Director at Recall Corporation in Norcross, GA, he was responsible for executing more than 50 global acquisitions in the document management industry. With P&L responsibilities for running a digital document management division of Recall North America, Anir tripled the size of the business in two years. In his current position as VP of Business Development at ADP National Account Services, Anir is also responsible for development and execution of their acquisition plans. Because of his distinguished career across a broad and diverse spectrum, he is frequently asked for his assessment and opinions on deals by VC’s, bankers, entrepreneurs and the investment communities.

Richard ValentineRichard Valentine has over 30 years of varied experience functioning in the capacities of President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Controller. Industry experience includes department store and specialty retailing, restaurants, manufacturing, business brokerage, and public accounting. His work with national companies includes KPMG Peat Markwick, May Department Stores, Associated Dry Goods and as a franchisee Blockbuster and Denny’s. Richard has broad exposure to all areas of control and finance, operations, merchandise information systems, human resources, marketing, loss prevention, and store development. He has a proven track record in both established organizations where improvement of financial performance was foremost and less established fast-paced growing companies with a need for leadership in establishing structure and controls. He has obtained results and managed change through strong problem solving abilities and sound decision making that have contributed to both organizational and personal success.
Wade Hampton (Hamp) WeatherlyHamp has extensive general management, consulting, market development, and program management experience. After a short two-year retirement, he embarked on a new career as Marketing Principal for the family owned insurance business based in Raleigh, NC. He oversees the program management for a nation-wide life insurance conservation initiative for Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance. The program was recognized by F&G Life as the most successful such effort in their history. Prior to retirement, he worked for AT&T Wireless as an Operations Specialist directly supporting the VP Operations and Engineering for the Southeast region.
He co-founded W&H Integrated Technologies to provide telecommunications consulting and optimization services. He served as Director Telecommunications for the State of Tennessee where he was responsible for all voice and data communications. Before the move to Tennessee, he was Manager of Data Communications for Carolina Power and Light Company. He came to CP&L from Wachovia Services where he was Communications Manager for their correspondent bank division. His professional career began with NCR where his technical training focused on data communications. He served in the Air Force after leaving East Carolina University. Hamp is a 59 year old Viet Nam era veteran currently living in Pinehurst, NC.
